Call for Papers

We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 1stInternational Conference on China Development Theory to be held on October 19-20, 2019 in School of Economics, Renmin University of China.

China is the largest developing country in the world. Over the past 40 years since its reform and opening up, China has seen a rapid economic development and great success. It has created a Chinese miracle and embarked on a development path with Chinese characteristics. The practices and great achievements in China’s rapid economic development provide the most vivid materials and rich nutrients for theories in development economics. Developing countries are expecting to understand and learn from China’s successful practices to better tackle major challenges in their own development. For China, an in-depth analysis of the theoretical logic of its development from economics perspective can help China establish its own development theory and promote sustainable growth.
